What's the fuss over the Hunger Games Cast?

I know it's old news but what is the deal with all the anger over The Hunger Games cast? I am a big fan of the books and I actually really like the cast. Gale is my favorite character and I think Liam Hemsworth is a great choice. I don't really like Peeta but would love to know why everyone was so upset with the choice in actor.
