Will this be a problem everytime I travel abroad and try to enter the US?

I had a brief marriage for 6 month with a St Lucian immigrant to do the family a favor. He got caught up in some stuff back home and needed to stay in the US so I married him. It ended and we were questioned heavily by immigration and I was detained for 6 hours while he was released because he ended up confessing to everything meanwhile we had this solid story that we were gonna say and he ended up just spilling the beans. So I went out of country recently and was detained in the back of customs for 2 hours and had to speak to someone regarding this story. Will this happened everytime I travel. This was 5 years ago and its still haunting me. Why??
