Can I use a Saint Lucian driving license in the UK?

I am a resident in the UK and have been for over 10 years. I would like to do my driving test in Saint Lucia (the Caribbean) and am wondering if it would be valid. If not maybe I can change it into an international one or something similar which in turn then will get accepted. Thanks in advance.
